Obama: Kids need to be careful on Facebook

The dangers of social networking have been highlighted by none other than the president of the United States.

Barack Obama attended Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia to speak to them about the pitfalls of widely-accepted technology and how present actions can make a good or bad future for young ones in regards to their use of the likes of Facebook.

He said: "First of all, I want everybody here to be careful about what you post on Facebook, because in the YouTube age, whatever you do, it will be pulled up again later somewhere in your life."

Mr President went onto explain that all it takes for a number of companies is a quick background check online to see the true colours of someone not careful enough to respect their own privacy.

According to the Associated Press, his choice of school was down to its economically and racially diverse structure, with the US leader aiming to get his point across to all levels of society.

Today, it was revealed that seven accident and emergency staff have been suspended from their workplace at Great Western Hospital in Swindon after they played the Lying Down Game during their nightshift - an activity which sees participants lying down in unique places.
